Job description

Who We Are
Dominion Financial is a nationally recognized private lender dedicated to supporting real estate investors. Through our Short-Term Bridge Loans and Long-Term Rental Loans, we help clients scale their businesses and build lasting generational wealth.
We've built a reputation for strong, measurable growth quarter after quarter, and we're recognized by Scotsman Guide as one of the leading private lenders in the country for Multifamily, DSCR, New Construction, and Fix & Flip loans.
As an AI-forward company, we continue to invest in the technology and tools that make our team faster and more effective, from streamlined underwriting to smarter, more efficient workflows for our loan officers.
As we continue to expand, we're looking for a driven, organized Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. This is a good opportunity to build a career with a company that's growing steadily, has an established track record, and is genuinely focused on helping real estate investors succeed, supported by the tools and technology to do it well.
Our Values
  • Integrity
  • Accountable & Dependable
  • Team Centric
  • System & Process Oriented
  • Service Ethic
  • Organized Efficiency - Risk Management & Compliance
Why Experienced Originators Join Dominion
  • Fully remote: Work from anywhere in the U.S. while continuing to serve your market and network.
  • Broad product offering: Bridge, fix & flip, ground-up construction, DSCR rental, portfolio, and multifamily lending.
  • Inbound and warm opportunities: Work with investor leads generated through our marketing efforts and existing borrower relationships.
  • Business-purpose lending: Focus on real estate investment transactions rather than traditional consumer mortgage lending.
  • National platform: Serve investors across a broad geographic footprint with an established private lending platform behind you.
Your Impact
  • Convert qualified inbound and warm investor opportunities into funded loans.
  • Structure financing for real estate investors, investment entities, and repeat sponsors.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with repeat borrowers.
  • Build referral relationships with brokers, agents, contractors, and investor networks.
  • Take ownership of your pipeline from initial conversation through closing.
In This Role, You Will
  • Speak with real estate investors seeking bridge, fix & flip, DSCR, or construction financing.
  • Follow up consistently with warm leads and existing borrowers by phone, email, and text.
  • Review loan scenarios, financial information, and deal economics to determine potential fit.
  • Recommend and structure the appropriate Dominion product for each opportunity.
  • Work closely with processing and underwriting to move qualified loans toward closing.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with borrowers, brokers, and referral partners throughout the process.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience with a private lender, hard money lender, investor-focused lending platform, or similar environment is ideal. Non-QM, wholesale, commercial, or conventional mortgage origination experience may also translate well.
  • A measurable track record of production, such as loan volume, units, conversion, or borrower retention.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly understand complex transactions and deal structures.
  • Consultative sales skills and the ability to communicate effectively with experienced real estate investors.
  • Competitive and results-oriented, with the ability to maintain a high level of activity and follow-through.
  • Coachable and willing to learn and adopt our systems, processes, and CRM.
  • Strong communication and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working in a remote, technology-driven environment.
  • Strong computer and CRM skills.
  • NMLS licensing, active or previously held, is a plus.
AI-Enabled Workplace
Our company actively incorporates artificial intelligence into daily operations and expects team members to utilize AI tools as part of their standard workflow. All employees are provided with access to Claude, including unlimited token usage, and are encouraged to leverage AI to increase productivity, automate routine tasks, improve communication, enhance decision-making, and drive innovation. Experience with AI tools is preferred, and a willingness to adopt AI-assisted work practices is expected for this role.

  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Paid time off
  • Company outings, social events, and virtual events
  • Companywide competitions and raffles
