Job description

Crossing Guard

Part-time - 6:30-8:30 a.m. and 2:10-4:10 p.m., M-F 10 month, school days

Supervises and assists students in crossing streets. Uses and maintains provided safety equipment. Establishes and maintains good relations with students. Attends required training classes and workshops.

High school diploma or GED. Standing and walking up to 3 hours at a time. Exposure to elements, road dust, occasional fuel and exhaust fumes. Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
