Job description

Talkiatry is seeking a Staff Product Manager, Growth to help build our growth engine. You'll initially own our \"Start to Visit\" funnel, using rigorous analysis, experimentation, and strong product judgment to help more patients successfully begin care.

Growth at Talkiatry has a direct connection to our mission: when we make it easier for someone to discover Talkiatry, find the right clinician, and successfully begin and stay in care, more people get access to the mental health care they need.

You’ll identify high-leverage opportunities, develop hypotheses, run rigorous A/B tests, and turn learnings into compounding engines.

Over time, your scope will expand across retention, LTV, organic growth, referrals, and product-led growth loops.

This is a high-impact Staff IC role for an exceptional growth product leader who combines analytical depth, systems thinking, and a relentless drive to learn and optimize.

About Talkiatry:

Talkiatry is transforming mental health care by making high-quality psychiatry more accessible, human, and sustainable for both patients and clinicians. Co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist, we were built to solve one of healthcare’s most urgent challenges: millions of people struggle to access mental health care, while clinicians face growing administrative burden and burnout. Through our technology-powered, in-network platform, we’re changing that, creating a better experience for patients and empowering clinicians to focus on delivering exceptional care.

Today, Talkiatry is the largest dedicated psychiatry practice in the U.S., with 750+ psychiatrists, 250+ therapists, and more than two million patient visits delivered nationwide. At our scale, every innovation has real impact. Every workflow we improve, every technology solution we build, and every patient experience we redesign helps thousands of clinicians provide better care to hundreds of thousands of patients. We’re not just growing quickly — we’re redefining how behavioral healthcare is delivered in America.

Joining Talkiatry means joining a mission-driven team that is solving complex problems at scale, driving meaningful change in healthcare, and building the future of mental health care with compassion, innovation, and purpose.

You will:

  • Own growth product strategy and execution, initially focused on materially improving the Start-to-Visit funnel.

  • Treat growth as a system: deeply understand the funnel, identify constraints and drop-off points, and find the highest-leverage opportunities.

  • Build a rigorous, high-velocity experimentation practice—develop hypotheses, run A/B tests, measure incremental impact, and compound learnings over time.

  • Use funnel analysis, segmentation, cohorts, and behavioral data to understand what is happening and why.

  • Balance continuous optimization with larger product bets that can unlock step-change growth.

  • Expand into retention, LTV, organic acquisition, referrals, and other compounding growth loops over time.

  • Partner deeply across engineering, design, data science, marketing, operations, and clinical teams to drive outcomes.

You have:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including significant experience building consumer growth products.

  • A track record of materially improving conversion, activation, retention, engagement, or LTV at scale.

  • Exceptional analytical horsepower and fluency with funnels, experimentation, metrics, and behavioral data.

  • Deep expertise in A/B testing, including hypothesis development, experiment design, measurement, and interpretation.

  • Strong systems thinking and an ability to find leverage within complex customer journeys.

  • Exceptional rigor and attention to detail. You interrogate assumptions, dig beneath topline metrics, and care deeply about getting the answer right.

  • Strong product judgment—you know when to optimize, when to keep learning, and when a problem requires a fundamentally different solution.

  • The ability to operate independently in ambiguity and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

  • Experience in a world-class consumer growth organization is strongly preferred.

Why Talkiatry:

  • Top-notch team: we're a diverse, experienced group motivated to make a difference in mental health care

  • Collaborative environment: be part of building something from the ground up at a fast-paced startup

  • Excellent benefits: medical, dental, vision, effective day 1 of employment, 401K with match, generous PTO plus paid holidays, paid parental leave, and more!

  • Grow your career with us: hone your skills and build new ones with our Learning team as Talkiatry expands

  • It all comes back to care: we’re a mental health company, and we put our team’s well-being first
