Job description

Retro Custom Metals is hiring a reliable Warehouse Technician / Materials Runner to support our roofing and fabrication crews.

This is a hands-on, active position responsible for pulling materials, making deliveries, and maintaining an organized warehouse and yard.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and stage material orders for crews
  • Pick up materials from vendors and deliver to job sites
  • Load/unload trucks and trailers
  • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and yard
  • Assist with inventory and shop support

Requirements

  • Valid Utah driver’s license + clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
  • Comfortable pulling and parking trailers (up to 20 ft)
  • Reliable and punctual (critical for this role)
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Comfortable using smartphone apps (Google Maps, Calendar)
  • Able to work M-F 7am-4pm
  • Be available to stay late sometimes during our busy season

Preferred Qualifications

  • Roofing or metal roofing experience preferred
  • Forklift certification is a bonus
  • Experience with coil or fabrication machinery is a bonus
  • Spanish speaking is a bonus

Hiring Requirements

  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Required to obtain a DOT Medical Card

It has evolved to include bay windows, chimney hoods, chimney pots, range hoods, ACM panels and custom metal fabrication on our new CNC Machine.
