Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple geologic and hydrogeologic investigation, compliance, and remediation projects from start to finish.
  • Support and participate in site-characterization investigations, including geophysical surveys, well drilling oversight, geologic logging, groundwater sampling, and hydraulic testing events.
  • Document, manage, and analyze data to develop graphical summaries and reports using Excel, PowerPoint, ArcGIS, Word, Sanitas, DUMPStat, AQTESOLV, or applicable software.
  • Conduct routine monitoring events such as installing pressure transducers and measuring water levels.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and work breakdown structures to guide project execution.
  • Coordinate and manage resources across multiple departments to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Communicate project status regularly to team lead, senior management, clients, and other stakeholders through formal reports and presentations.
  • Collect samples and use field instruments to monitor hydrologic conditions (groundwater, stormwater, surface water).
  • Monitor job costs, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation; proactively address risks and issues.
  • Maintain accurate and complete project documentation, including contracts, reports, and change orders.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to resolve field and scheduling challenges.
  • Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
  • Evaluate opportunities and prepare work scopes, cost estimates, and proposals.


Education, Experience and Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Hydrology, or related field (required). Masterโ€™s degree and professional license (PE or LPG) preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of project management experience in industries related to DOE, DoD, state, or commercial contracting (required).
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must receive a satisfactory pre-hire drug screen and background check.
  • Must possess a valid Driverโ€™s License and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements.
