Job description

Job Description Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), is currently seeking a Systems Engineer in Everett, MA. This will be an onsite contract opportunity. This position has a strong focus on administering and supporting enterprise storage and virtualization infrastructure, including legacy VMware and Nutanix environments

The Systems Engineer is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of servers, storage, virtualization platforms, operating systems, applications, and related infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance within a mission-critical hospitality and gaming environment. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise server and virtualization infrastructure. Hands-on experience administering legacy VMware (vSphere/ESXi) and Nutanix environments.

Previous experience in the hospitality and/or gaming industry is required, preferably supporting casino operations or gaming technology. Must currently possess, or have previously possessed, a Massachusetts Gaming License/Card (MA Gaming Card) and be eligible to obtain one if required. Experience supporting mission-critical, 24x7 production environments with a focus on high availability and uptime.

Strong knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization, storage, networking, and disaster recovery. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience administering or supporting Linux server environments (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar).

Experience with automation, scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python), and enterprise monitoring tools. Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP, Nutanix NCP, Microsoft, or Linux certifications. Link Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
