Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support a community-based vaccination initiative. The RN will administer a variety of immunizations in a retail healthcare setting while delivering exceptional patient care, educating patients, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

This is a patient-facing role requiring flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and excellent interpersonal skills.
 

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer immunizations including:
    • Influenza (Flu)
    • COVID-19
    • MMR
    • Hepatitis A & B
    • Tdap
    • Shingles (Zoster)
    • Pneumococcal
    • HPV
    • RSV
    • Other CDC-recommended vaccines
  • Assess patients prior to vaccination.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions following immunization.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and vaccine records.
  • Educate patients regarding vaccines, side effects, and post-vaccination care.
  • Follow infection prevention and safety protocols (PPE provided).
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and organizational policies.
  • Adapt to changing workflows and patient volumes.
  • Support a positive, patient-centered healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization experience.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Strong medication administration and clinical assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must not appear on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
