Qualification/Responsibilities:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse in accordance with laws of this state and have at least 6 months experience in long-term care with at least one year experience as a licensed nurse.

  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.

  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or possess a valid compact license.

  • Provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants
