Registered Nurse – Critical Care
Schedule: Weekends: Every other weekend (average ~6 weekends per 13-week contract)
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours
Requirements:
- License: RN licensure in GA or Compact license required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH/NIHSS required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience; previous charge experience preferred
- EMR: Epic (required)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients in various critical care settings.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including performing interventions and adjustments to treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to facility protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the charting system.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols.
Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 24 hours (number of non-billable orientation hours varies by contract length)
- Vaccination: Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Pre-approved time off: One (per policies listed)
