Job description

Registered Nurse – Critical Care

Schedule: Weekends: Every other weekend (average ~6 weekends per 13-week contract)

Assignment Details:

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours

Requirements:

  • License: RN licensure in GA or Compact license required
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH/NIHSS required
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience; previous charge experience preferred
  • EMR: Epic (required)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients in various critical care settings.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, including performing interventions and adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to facility protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the charting system.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols.

  • Orientation: 24 hours (number of non-billable orientation hours varies by contract length)
