Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg/Telemetry – Globe, AZ | 13-Week Contract

MTK Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, Arizona.

Position Details

  • Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg/Observation/Telemetry
  • Location: Globe, AZ
  • Facility: Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center
  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Schedule: Day Shift with On-Call Rotation
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the Medical/Surgical, Observation, and Telemetry units. This role requires flexibility to float to other units as needed while delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Monitor telemetry patients and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Float to other patient care units as needed.
  • Participate in the facility's on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Active Arizona RN License (or Compact RN License, if applicable)
  • Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing experience
  • Current BLSACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to float as needed

Facility Requirements

  • Flu vaccination is required (no exceptions).
  • Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (100-mile radius rule).
  • Maximum of 3 requested time-off (RTO) days during the 13-week assignment.
  • Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the contract.
