Registered Nurse MedSurg 

Location: Globe, Arizona
Pay Rate: $60.00 to $63.00/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM,
Total Working Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Experience: Minimum 4 years required

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Globe, Arizona. This role requires strong Med/Surg experience, flexibility to float to Stepdown when needed, and the ability to support patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients.

  • Float to Stepdown when needed based on facility needs.

  • Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and response to care.

  • Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as ordered.

  • Support patient safety, infection control, and quality care standards.

  • Communicate clearly with physicians, nurses, patients, and families.

  • Participate in call coverage as required by the contract.

  • Adapt to changing patient care needs and unit assignments.

Requirements

  • Active Arizona or compact Registered Nurse license required.

  • BLS/BCLS certification required.

  • ACLS certification required.

  • Minimum 4 years of RN experience required.

  • Med/Surg experience required.

  • Stepdown experience preferred.

  • Must be willing to float to Stepdown if needed.

  • Flu vaccine required with no exceptions.

  • Must meet 100-mile radius rule.

  • Holiday coverage required.

  • No more than 3 days of requested time off allowed per contract.

  • Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment.
