Contract Flight Simulator information
What is the difference between Contract Flight Simulator vs Contract Pilot?
| Aspect | Contract Flight Simulator | Contract Pilot |
|---|---|---|
| Required Credentials | FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), simulator training | Commercial Pilot License (CPL), FAA certifications |
| Work Environment | Flight simulators, training centers | Aircraft, airports, various flight settings |
| Employer & Industry Usage | Training providers, airlines, military | Airlines, charter companies, private operators |
Contract Flight Simulators primarily focus on training and simulation using specialized equipment, while Contract Pilots operate actual aircraft in real flight conditions. Both roles require FAA certifications and are essential in aviation training and operations, but they differ in work environment and responsibilities.
