Familiarity with handheld tracking devices, GPS navigation systems, and package scanning technology is typically required. Strong time management, customer service skills, and reliability make someone stand out in this position. Additionally, developing strong time management skills and ensuring regular vehicle maintenance are key strategies to successfully meeting daily delivery goals while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.

What are Contract FedEx Drivers?

Contract FedEx Drivers are individuals who work for independent companies, known as FedEx contractors, rather than being direct employees of FedEx. These drivers are responsible for picking up and delivering packages on behalf of FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery. Their daily tasks include loading their vehicles, planning efficient routes, delivering packages to homes and businesses, and obtaining signatures when required.
