Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to support the development, administration, and compliance of government and commercial contracts. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to federal regulations, supporting proposal development, and implementing contract requirements across internal teams.

This is an on-site position located in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience or a drive to develop processes and procedures for a company beginning to take on government contracts. The candidate should also possess a strong understanding of compliance standards, proposal processes, and contract lifecycle management.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS, and other agency-specific requirements)
  • Conduct internal compliance audits and maintain documentation related to compliance activities
  • Flow down contractual requirements to internal departments and subcontractors
  • Track and enforce compliance with contract deliverables, schedules, and obligations
  • Develop internal processes and procedures to ensure compliance and contract execution
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and contract modifications
  • Ensure proposals align with solicitation requirements and regulatory standards
  • Work closely with senior-leadership, Project Managers, prime contractors, and internal departments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • 5+ years experience in contracts administration - government contracts experience required
  • Strong working knowledge of FAR / DFARS and government contracting requirements
  • Experience supporting proposal development and submission processes
  • Small-business experience highly desired
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
