  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with middle school writing standards for grades six through eight and common challenges such as organizing multi-paragraph essays, integrating textual evidence, and maintaining focus throughout longer compositions. Adapts instruction using graphic organizers, mentor text analysis, and structured peer review to support middle school writers building competence in argumentative, informational, and narrative writing.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.
