Job description

Marketing Intern
Location: Raleigh, NC (On-site and instore)
20-29 hours/week

About Us:
LM Restaurants is a family-owned and operated hospitality management group with a passion for bringing people together through unforgettable dining experiences. Our portfolio includes a dynamic mix of brands—from laid-back sports bars to elevated coastal dining—and we’re looking for a creative, social-savvy Marketing Intern to join our team!

The Role:
This isn’t your average internship. As our Marketing Intern, you’ll dive headfirst into the fast-paced world of restaurant marketing. You’ll help bring our brands to life through content creation, trendspotting, and research—working across social platforms and analytics. You'll also get to experience other marketing pieces, from influencers to email to print. You’ll get hands-on experience in restaurants, meet our teams, and help tell their stories in fresh, authentic ways.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create engaging, on-trend content (video, photo, Reels, TikToks) and copy across multiple social media channels
  • Tag relevant accounts, locations, and utilize hashtags to increase visibility and engagement
  • Visit local restaurant locations to capture real-time content of food and beverage and bring our brands to life
  • Be the expert on social media trends, proactively jumping on them and translating them into creative campaigns
  • Own projects, from research, approvals, implementation, and analysis. These could include social channel launch, analytics dashboards, or digital data culmination
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on brand storytelling, campaign planning, and creative brainstorming
  • Monitor performance and engagement metrics to help optimize content
  • Be a part of a fun, fast-moving, food-loving team

What We’re Looking For:

  • A current student or recent graduate, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
  • Passionate user of social media—especially Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Able to show  personal or professional examples..
  • Skilled in short-form video creation, photography, and editing (CapCut, Canva, Adobe tools a plus)
  • Fast, creative, and plugged into the latest trends
  • Experience in Analytics and culminating online data a plus
  • Outgoing and comfortable walking into a restaurant with big ideas, talking with the staff, and capturing key moments
  • A driven self-starter with great time management and communication skills
  • Must be available to work on-site in our Raleigh office and travel locally to restaurant locations as needed

What You’ll Gain:

  • Hands-on experience across a wide portfolio of restaurant brands
  • A killer digital marketing portfolio
  • Real-world campaign experience
  • Exposure to strategy, analytics, and brand management
