Job description

Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains. Serving two primary markets - passenger vehicle and commercial truck equipment - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.

Job Purpose

The eCommerce Sales Specialist supports the growth of Dana Aftermarket's digital sales channels, with primary responsibility for Amazon Wholesale, DanaProParts.com, and emerging marketplace channels. The role also supports eCommerce growth initiatives with strategic LV and CV customer accounts, including AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, O'Reilly Auto Parts, NAPA, FleetPride, VIPAR, and other key retailers and distributors, helping drive online sales, assortment expansion, and digital commerce performance.

Working closely with the Manager of Digital Experience & eCommerce, this role helps drive online sales growth through assortment expansion, product listing management, pricing execution, promotional support, account administration, and ecommerce/marketplace operations. The position serves as a key liaison between Sales/Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Shared Services, Pricing, and external marketplace partners to help remove barriers to sales and improve overall account performance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Drive eCommerce Sales Growth
   Support sales growth across Amazon Wholesale, DanaProParts.com, marketplace channels (eBay, Walmart, Lowe's, and others), and strategic customer eCommerce initiatives.
   Assist in identifying opportunities to increase revenue through assortment expansion, improved product visibility, promotional programs, marketplace expansion, and customer-specific eCommerce initiatives.
   Partner with Sales / Account Management to support online growth objectives with key retail and distribution partners including AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, O'Reilly Auto Parts, NAPA, FleetPride, VIPAR, and other strategic accounts. 
   Support execution of customer programs, promotions, product launches, and sales campaigns.
   Assist with customer-facing activities, account reviews, and growth initiatives.

Marketplace & Account Support
   Assist in the day-to-day management of Amazon Wholesale, DanaProParts.com, and marketplace channels. 
   Support eCommerce initiatives, onboarding and expansion of marketplace channels including eBay, Walmart Marketplace, and future digital commerce platforms.
   Serve as a point of contact for routine marketplace and customer inquiries.
   Help coordinate account activities with internal departments, agency partners, distributors, and marketplace providers.
   Track and resolve customer, order, listing, pricing, and operational issues that may impact sales performance.

Product Listings & Assortment Expansion
   Maintain and support product listings, images, product attributes, and digital content across eCommerce channels.
   Assist with new product launches and assortment expansion initiatives.
   Support catalog audits and listing optimization efforts designed to improve discoverability and conversion.
   Coordinate digital assets and product information with Marketing and Product Management teams.

Pricing & Operational Coordination
   Assist with pricing updates, promotional pricing execution, and marketplace pricing reporting.
   Help reconcile pricing discrepancies, customer deductions, chargebacks, invoice issues, and operational concerns.
   Coordinate with Sales Operations, Customer Service, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Finance to resolve issues impacting customer satisfaction and sales growth.
   Assist with account administration activities related to marketplace programs and customer accounts.

Marketing & Customer Engagement Support
   Partner with Marketing to support digital campaigns, product launches, promotions, and merchandising initiatives.
   Assist with trade shows, customer meetings, sales events, DanaAftermarket.com initiatives, and promotional activities.
   Support development and distribution of digital assets, product content, and marketing materials.
   Help coordinate marketplace advertising and promotional opportunities that support sales growth.
   Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Reporting & Analysis
   Prepare sales reports, marketplace performance summaries, and assortment tracking reports.
   Monitor key performance metrics including sales trends, listing health, promotional performance, and customer engagement.
   Support monthly business reviews and account reporting activities.
   Utilize Excel, Power BI, and marketplace reporting tools to support decision-making.

Education and Qualifications

   Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, eCommerce, Communications, or related field.
   1+ years of experience in sales support, account management, eCommerce, or related fields. 
   Strong organizational and project coordination skills. 
   Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
   Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications. 
   Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
   Strong attention to detail and customer-service mindset.
   Willingness to travel (~25%) for customer meetings, trade shows, sales meetings, and industry events.
