To thrive as a Contract Manager, you need strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills, typically supported by a degree in business, law, or a related field. Familiarity with contract management software (like DocuSign or SAP Ariba) and certifications such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) are often required.
