Job description

SolidWorks Drafter โ€“ Mechanical Equipment | Hudson, WI | Contract - 3 months | $35-40/hour

Konik is partnering with a manufacturing-focused client to bring on a SolidWorks Drafter for a 3-month contract assignment. This hands-on role will focus on updating and correcting existing mechanical equipment drawings, ensuring accurate models, and maintaining bill of materials for plate steel and mechanical assemblies.

SolidWorks Drafter Responsibilities:

  • Modify, correct, and maintain existing SolidWorks models and associated mechanical drawings.
  • Update plate steel drawings for equipment and fabricated components.
  • Revise and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) to reflect updated drawings and models.
  • Review drawings for dimensional accuracy, part details, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to complete drawing updates efficiently.
  • Support the production of high-quality, constructible mechanical documentation.

SolidWorks Drafter Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with SolidWorks modeling and drafting.
  • Experience with mechanical equipment, fabricated parts, or plate steel components.
  • Strong knowledge of bills of materials (BOMs) and ability to maintain accuracy.
