Job description

Overview

ViaPath is looking for Manager, Contracts Administration to join our team who will be responsible for contracts and subcontracts administration.

This is a hybrid position based at the ViaPath office located in Falls Church, VA.

Responsibilities
  • Perform senior level cradle-to-grave contracts and subcontract administration primarily for state and local government contracts as well as commercial contracts
  • Draft and negotiate NDA's, TA's, Vendor, Subcontract and Consulting Agreements and amendments
  • Review RFIs, RFQs, and RFP's to ensure compliance as well as work with the sales manager, pricing and legal in the proposal process
  • Negotiate customer contracts and customer Amendments
  • Ensure the negotiation of terms and conditions are in alignment with management objectives and in consideration of ensuring no risk or risk mitigation/limitation.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
  • Serve as a liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages, as well as throughout contract execution
  • Review, analyze, identify, mitigate and negotiate risks that contract terms and conditions may pose to the company
  • Resolve contract issues as they arise
  • Draft and issue requests for proposals
  • Complete contract closeouts
  • Help to build a contract repository database
  • Maintain organized files
  • Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate managers regarding contract status
  • Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with guidelines and company policy
  • Process purchase orders and change orders
  • Develop strong internal and external customer relationships
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered
  • Minimum of 8 years of contracts administration experience required; federal contracting experience a plus
  • Ability to resolve contractual issues and recommend business solutions to management
  • Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting competing deadlines
  • Self-motivated and success oriented
  • Adept at solving problems and creating solutions
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; SharePoint experience desired.
  • Experience in Salesforce, ServiceNow and/or QAD is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external customers
  • Ability to work quickly and independently with minimum supervisionย
