Job description

Overview
The Contract Professional supports the organization's contract management function by administering contracts throughout their lifecycle in accordance with established policies, standards, and risk tolerances. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to facilitate contract drafting, review, coordination, and compliance activities. The position contributes to effective risk management, contract governance, and operational efficiency through consistent application of approved contracting practices, systems, and controls.
Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and administer contracts using approved templates, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and amendments.
  • Perform initial contract reviews to identify deviations from standard terms, playbook guidelines, and organizational risk thresholds.
  • Evaluate and flag contractual risks related to indemnity, liability, termination, insurance, data protection, pricing, and other key provisions; escalate non-standard or high-risk matters to Legal, Procurement, or leadership as needed.
  • Prepare contract clarifications, addenda, and revisions to ensure alignment with business, product, service, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate contract redlining and negotiation activities, acting as a liaison between internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Business teams) and external suppliers.
  • Track negotiation progress, comments, approvals, and revisions to support efficient contract execution.
  • Provide regular contract status updates to management and key stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Support Procurement and Purchasing teams with supplier coordination, contract templates, standard terms and conditions, and contracting processes.
  • Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, including drafting, review, negotiation, execution, renewal, and termination.
  • Maintain accurate and organized contract records, ensuring proper version control, data integrity, archiving, and access management within the CLM system.
  • Monitor and report on key contract milestones, including expiration dates, renewal deadlines, auto-renewal clauses, and notice requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal contracting policies, documentation standards, and audit requirements.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of contract-related experience, or at least 5 years of professional experience in contract drafting, administration, or contract management.

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review, interpret, and evaluate contract terms, including identifying associated business and risk implications.
  • Solid understanding of contracting policies, standard contractual terms, and contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes.
  • Proficiency with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience supporting contracts in household goods transportation, relocation, global mobility, supply chain, or procurement environments is considered an asset
