Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW 

This role will have responsibilities supporting product implementation efforts in the growing annuity business at Global Atlantic. The individual that accepts this position will work with a broad, multi-disciplined team to find creative solutions to the opportunities and challenges faced in today's insurance market. The position requires interaction with multiple areas of the company, including Legal, Operations, Actuarial, Technology, Sales and Marketing as well as Senior Management.

  • Implementation Support: Create test plans for product implementations on multiple platforms. Work on development and testing of system builds in support of product implementation efforts. Provide support for product training and create process documentation. Work with Legal/Compliance on the creation of required materials and with Sales and Marketing on product design and implementation process.
  • Business Requirement Definition: Work with internal and external partners to create business requirement documentation, product specifications and product outlines for Global Atlantic products.
  • Contract Drafting and Filing: Work with internal and external partners on Contract drafting and review.  Provide support throughout the filing process. 
  • Production Support: Work with impacted areas to identify, quantify, and resolve issues for inforce business on all platforms.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education equivalent to a four-year college degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or other related field is required
  • 3- 5 years of experience in the Insurance Industry, with focus on roles supporting annuities
  • Demonstrated Excel expertise
  • Demonstrated strong analytical ability
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, for delivery to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical written material
  • High energy level and internal motivation
  • Adaptable, can seamlessly maintain effort and focus when priorities change
  • Learning mindset, focus on continuous process improvement
  • Results-oriented, with ability to execute multiple high-priority items simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented, with ability to test complex calculations and spot gaps in current processes

This is the expected annual base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance. Base Salary Range $115,000 to $125,000
