Job description

The Contract Administrator is responsible for administering contracts and supporting the contract life-cycle from onboarding through contract execution and renewal. This role serves as a key liaison among Procurement, Legal, Accounting, and business stakeholders to ensure contracts are properly reviewed, documented, approved, and maintained in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

The Contract Administrator supports vendor management activities, maintains contract records and documentation, monitors compliance requirements, and assists with sourcing and competitive bidding initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires on-site attendance at our McLean, VA Corporate Office from Monday thru Thursday, with Friday being a remote work day. 


  • Coordinate the administration of vendor contracts, consulting agreements, and related documentation throughout the contract life-cycle.
  • Partner with Legal, Procurement, Accounting, and business stakeholders to facilitate contract review, revisions, approvals, and execution.
  • Review contract documentation for completeness and ensure required approvals are obtained prior to execution.
  • Serve as a point of contact for vendors regarding contract requirements, documentation, and onboarding activities.
  • Track contracts through the approval and signature process to ensure timely execution.
  • Maintain accurate contract records and documentation within the contract management system.
  • Monitor contract milestones, renewal dates, insurance expirations, and other key compliance requirements.
  • Assist with vendor onboarding and ensure all required vendor documentation is collected, validated, and maintained.
  • Support ongoing vendor compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and risk management requirements.
  • Generate reports and provide contract status updates to management as needed.
  • Support the Request for Proposal (RFP) and bidding process by coordinating vendor communications, distributing bid documents, collecting proposals, and maintaining sourcing records.
  • Assist in evaluating proposals and documenting contract award and non-award decisions.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance contract administration, vendor management, and procurement operations.
  • Support contract closeout activities and maintain completed contract files in accordance with company record retention requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in contract administration or a related business support function.
  • Knowledge of contract administration practices and procurement processes.
  • Experience working with contract management systems and document management tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated commitment to compliance, policy adherence, and risk management principles.

The salary range for this role is in the $64k - $69k in the DMV region.
