Job description

SUMMARY 

Distribution Specialist to help scale and optimize our global distributor network. This role is ideal for a data-driven, detail-oriented professional with a passion for channel operations and strategic growth. Responsibilities will center around distribution program responsibilities assuring continuity in customer support, quoting, and sales coordination while taking on broader strategy of both partner recruitment and process implementation, ultimately having full program ownership.

Designed as a growth opportunity, this role offers a clear path toward becoming a full-time Distribution Manager, with increasing exposure to analytics, contract management, and Sales.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Own distributor KPIs (sales, margins, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, quote-to-order conversion) and provide leadership with regular reporting, insights, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to consolidate distributor data across SAP, CRM, Budde Marketing, and internal reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and visibility.
  • Analyze distributor sales, quoting history, and margin trends to drive pricing strategies, identify gaps, and support decision-making.
  • Ensure system data integrity across platforms, troubleshooting discrepancies and streamlining reporting workflows.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly reporting cycles on distributor performance, highlighting wins, risks, and compliance with program standards.
  • Manage distributor contracts, including pricing tiers, MOQs, expirations, and alignment with corporate policies.
  • Oversee distributor program activities such as inventory monitoring, forecast reviews, and quarterly performance evaluations.
  • Maintain and improve tools and documentation, including a Distributor Program Playbook outlining program guidelines, pricing structures, and go-to-market practices.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support product launches, promotions, and distributor communications.
  • Cultivate distributor relationships through outreach, site visits, and participation in industry events
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting accuracy, distributor performance tracking, and the overall effectiveness of the distribution program.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Distribution Specialist

ACDI-0125

  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales, distribution support, channel operations, or customer-facing roles
  • Proven experience working with CRM and ERP systems; familiarity with tools like Power BI, Salesforce, or SAP is highly desirable
  • Experience supporting distributor networks, managing quotes, and collaborating cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams
  • Demonstrated ability to balance tactical execution with strategic thinking in a fast-paced, global environment

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Conversational in any other language is a plus.

According to several states' laws, this position's salary range falls between $90,000 and $110,000 annually. However, this salary information is merely a general guideline.
