Die Cutter Operator - Relocation Assistance Available

Location: Spartanburg, SC

Pay: $21.00–$27.00 / hour, based on relevant experience and work history

Paid Relocation: Available for qualified candidates

Shifts Available:

  • 6:00 am – 6:00 pm (Monday–Wednesday)
  • 6:00 pm – 6:00 am (Sunday–Tuesday)
  • 6:00 am – 6:00 pm (Thursday–Saturday)
  • 6:00 pm – 6:00 am (Wednesday–Friday)

Position Summary

Quad is seeking experienced Sheetfed Die Cutter Operators to join our Spartanburg manufacturing team.

In this role, you will set up and operate sheetfed die-cutting equipment to produce high-quality packaging products while ensuring safety, efficiency, and accuracy throughout the production process. You'll work alongside an experienced team using state-of-the-art equipment to deliver products for nationally recognized brands.

Experience operating Bobst 106 die-cutting equipment is highly preferred. Candidates with experience operating other Bobst or sheetfed die-cutting machines are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

  • Set up and operate sheetfed die-cutting equipment.
  • Verify job specifications, dies, paper stock, and production requirements before each run.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure quality and production efficiency.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Stage completed work according to production instructions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and PPE requirements.
  • Cross-train and assist with training other operators as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience operating sheetfed die-cutting equipment is required.
  • Experience operating Bobst 106 die cutters is highly preferred; candidates with experience on other Bobst or sheetfed die-cutting equipment are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to prioritize quality while working efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to accurately read measuring devices and perform basic math calculations.
  • Experience using hand tools.
  • Ability to lift 10–15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
