Job description

A leading medical technology company is seeking a Senior DevOps / Embedded Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Danvers, MA. This is a 3-day onsite role supporting CI/CD, embedded software, infrastructure, and enterprise platform migration using GitLab, Jenkins, C, Python, Bash, and Linux/QNX.
This is a great opportunity to work closely with software engineers on a major technology migration within a medical device environment. The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on engineer who can understand code, maintain pipelines, troubleshoot infrastructure, and hit the ground running.
Contract Duration: 6-12 Months with possible extensions
Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of DevOps / Software Engineering experience
Strong C programming experience; working knowledge of Python and Bash
Hands-on CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance
Experience with GitLab and Jenkins
Strong Linux, QNX, or Unix-like operating system experience
Infrastructure and cloud services experience
Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and communication skills
