LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $87.40/hour

Summary: 

  • Selects appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex engineering issues.

  • Anticipates and resolves complex issues in creative and effective ways, developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities.

  • Balances technical product, cost, and schedule in problem‑solving approaches.

  • Works without appreciable direction and exercises latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments.

  • Makes authoritative technical decisions and recommendations that impact extensive engineering activities.

  • Maintains current knowledge of developments in aircraft fields to recommend innovations improving quality and effectiveness of products.

  • Uses Catia V5, Smarteam, Enovia, or Teamcenter for product definition and design.

  • Applies aerospace engineering design and technical principles to aircraft structures and systems.

  • Provides technical leadership and guidance in design, integration, and certification processes.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical related curriculum applicable to the respective job position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 10 years in specific technical discipline or 15 years broad engineering experience in several technical disciplines with a Bachelor's degree.

  • Experience credit for related advanced degrees limited to 2 years for Masters and 4 years for PhD in fields applicable to this job.

  • Proficiency with Catia V5 and Smarteam, Enovia, or Teamcenter.

  • Experience in mechanical engineering at an aircraft OEM is preferred.

  • Advanced degree in engineering or related curriculum preferred.

  • Recognized authority within the field with extensive consultation from associates and others.

  • Ability to make authoritative technical decisions and recommendations.
