The role is part of the In-Space Systems business unit, which is focused on addressing two of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space infrastructure and increasing mobility on-orbit.

Reporting to the PMO Leader for our Blue National Security (BNS) Business Unit, you will be at the forefront of humanity's next great adventure. As a Program Scheduler, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of space exploration by developing and maintaining the roadmaps that guide our ambitious projects from concept to reality.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Pioneer Program Development:Develop and maintain Program Schedules within the Integrated Master Schedule that will guide humanity's next steps in space
  • Strategic Resource Management:Partner with technical leadership across Blue to support resource loading of schedules and analyze requirements needed to achieve historic milestones
  • Drive Change Management:Support initiatives that keep our programs agile and responsive, incorporating approved baseline changes into the schedule
  • Lead Critical Reviews:Orchestrate reviews that capture updates from collaborators, ensure schedule health, and analyze logic for accuracy-providing program leadership with vital insights into status, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Financial Integration:Collaborate closely with Program Cost Analysts to maintain coordinated cost and schedule plans that facilitate program budgeting and cost analysis
  • Innovation Leadership:Work with PP&C counterparts across business units to develop new or improved methods of building, analyzing, and reporting our schedules and schedule performance

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Project Management, or Engineering
  • Experience with integrated master schedules with resource loading using Primavera (P6), Open Plan, MS Project, or other software
  • Experience and comfort with working in ambiguous environments and situations
  • Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years of experience in program scheduling/planning and controls
  • Strong computer skills (MS Excel, MS Project)
  • Outstanding communication skills in technical work environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in aerospace research & development and manufacturing environments
  • Expert user of Primavera P6, MS Project
  • Experience with EVM-required contracts
  • Experience with writing code for Redash or Databricks
  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI setup
  • Experience with Schedule Risk Analysis
  • Successful support of programs through DCMA/DCAA, joint site surveillance, or other government audits
  • Proposal support including translation of BOEs into IMS's upon award
  • MBA, or Project Management certification (PMP/Certified Project Manager)
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance

Base Pay Range for:

CO applicants is $102,721.00 - $143,809.05 WA applicants is $112,059.00 - $156,882.60

  • Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
