Job Title: Principal Cloud Engineer

Location: Onsite in Bellevue WA

Duration: 06+ Months Contract

Job Summary:

  • Must have admin skills for most of the AWS services and managed via the AWS console.
  • Some understanding of Azure/Google cloud services
  • Networking. VPC, load-balancers, other cloud network components, how cloud network works, networking to on-premise.
  • Data storage , S3, SQS
  • Security , security groups, KMS, guard duty
  • Compute, EC2, auto-scale
  • Cloud --- cloud first architectures, design and presentation
  • Experience in AWS technology, especially data lakes, data warehouses, integrations, scripts, automations, Databricks, ETL/data factories, and any SQL implementations.
  • Proven knowledge of virtual application delivery technologies including knowledge of disaster recovery concepts.
  • Experience as a build and deployment engineer using industry-standard tools.
  • Experience with deployment tools and virtual lab management.
  • Understanding of industry-standard system architecture and system management tools.
  • Extensive experience, education, or certification in analytics methodologies in either machine learning or artificial intelligence a plus.
  • Experience in the design, deployment, and support of large, complex systems.
  • Experience in analytics and/or machine learning a plus.
  • AWS certifications will make candidates stand out.
  • This individual will work directly with business partners and other IT team members to understand desired system requirements and to deliver effective solutions
  • Cloud Development including design, coding, unit testing, triaging and implementation
  • Participate and conduct code reviews with scrum teams to approve for Production deployment
  • Able to work in a fast paced, demanding, and rapidly changing environment
  • Knowledge of Linux or Windows systems administration
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, Chef or similar
