If you’re interested in designing, creating, and testing the present and future of Airbus products across the globe, join our mission to connect the world.Your working environment:The Engineering Center in Mobile, Alabama houses hundreds of Airbus engineers who assist in the design and development of Airbus commercial aircraft cabins, including aftermarket upgrades, reconfigurations and services of all product types across the globe.Your challenge:Design Integration & Maturation: Assist in design solution development, layout maturation, and spatial integration using 3D modeling software. Under guidance, support detail part integration, clearance/clash analysis, and basic trade study evaluations.Configuration & Part Number Steering: Support the management of part numbers (PNs) and Bill of Materials (BOM) within PLM tools. Help track technical effectivity, interchangeability, and configuration across product variants under the direction of senior team members.Compliance & Certification Review: Assist in reviewing and evaluating engineering compliance documents from suppliers to support airworthiness approval. Work with senior engineers to check Certification Plans, Test Plans, Test Reports, and Declarations of Design and Performance (DDP) for basic technical accuracy and alignment with program requirements.Product Evolution & Change Control: Contribute to the drafting and coordination of routine engineering change packages (Modifications/MODs) while developing problem-solving skills.Supplier Technical Coordination: Support technical collaboration with cabin interior suppliers.
