Job description

Data Engineer - SQL, Data Warehousing/ETL, Cloud Data Warehouse (Databricks or Redshift) - Long-Term Contract - Onsite (Bay Area)
This is a technical Data Engineer role that requires an in-depth understanding of cloud architecture and highly scalable data workflows. The ideal candidate is very capable of high-quality work against technical and schedule challenges working with cross-functional teams.
This is a Bay Area-based client so would prefer locally-based engineers for this role engineers. You would be working onsite 4 days every week - This is non-negotiable!
Key Requirements:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable field.
  • 8+ years of solid commercial experience designing and building data solutions.
  • Must have strong experience in data warehousing concepts.
  • Must have strong experience in advanced SQL and Python.
  • Must have strong experience in ETL using different tools.
  • Experience with Data Modelling is a plus.
  • Experience in Cloud Data Warehouse -AWS Redshift or Databricks is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Public Cloud - AWS preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good Problem-solving and debugging skills.

Duration: 6M + Extendible
Location: Pleasanton, CA
The interview process will include two rounds of video interviews!
