Contract Data Streaming information

What is a contract data streaming professional?

A Contract Data Streaming professional is responsible for managing and facilitating the flow of real-time data between different systems or organizations, typically through contractual agreements. Their work involves ensuring that data streams are delivered efficiently, securely, and in compliance with agreed-upon terms. They often work with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Apache Flink, or AWS Kinesis, and may also handle monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data pipelines. These professionals play a crucial role in industries where timely and accurate data delivery is essential, such as finance, media, or telecommunications.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of a contract data streaming professional?

Professionals in Contract Data Streaming typically manage and monitor data pipelines that deliver real-time contract information to clients or internal stakeholders. Their daily tasks often include troubleshooting data flow issues, optimizing streaming processes for efficiency, and ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant standards. They collaborate closely with software engineers, data analysts, and legal teams to ensure that the contract data is accurate, up-to-date, and securely transmitted. Additionally, they may participate in meetings to discuss improvements to data infrastructure and address any technical challenges that arise.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a contract data streaming specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Contract Data Streaming Specialist, you need expertise in real-time data processing, analytics, and a solid understanding of networking protocols and data management, typically supported by a degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with data streaming platforms like Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or Azure Event Hubs, along with relevant certifications, is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication set top performers apart in this role. These competencies are crucial for ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient data delivery in dynamic business environments.

Job description

GTI is a contract manufacturing partner supporting customers in renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, and industrial systems.

We fabricate custom designed, purpose-built enclosures and skids for our customers and perform mechanical and electrical integration in-house, delivering a true turn-key product to our customers. Our scope spans Engineering, prototype builds, through full production, requiring teams that can move fast, adapt, and execute with precision.

GTI Values: Safety I Quality I Customer Obsession I Speed I Agility

We're hiring a Production Manager to own the shop floor for one of our manufacturing value streams — from the moment material is released to the moment a finished product ships. This is a hands-on leadership role with real visibility: you'll run production day to day, and you'll be the connective tissue between production and the teams around it — fabrication, welding, engineering, and quality — without those functions reporting to you directly. If you're a strong production leader who wants more scope, more cross-functional influence, and a direct line to outcomes, this is that next step.

Responsibilities
  • Run daily production operations for your value stream — staffing, scheduling, throughput, and output — from material release through final shipment
  • Lead and develop production supervisors and their teams across a 25-100+ person production organization, building accountability-driven frontline leadership
  • Own the safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance of production within your value stream
  • Drive manufacturing readiness for new product introductions, working ahead of ramp to catch issues before they hit the floor
  • Identify and remove production bottlenecks; run Lean tools like value stream mapping and Kaizen events to keep work moving
  • Maintain OSHA compliance and lead a visible, hands-on safety culture on the floor

Day to day, you'll coordinate closely with:

  • Metal Fabrication — sequencing and hand-offs into production
  • Welding Operations — scheduling and quality hand-offs
  • Mechanical & Final Assembly — flow and staging
  • Manufacturing Engineering — process changes and NPI readiness
  • Quality Operations — closing the loop on defects and rework
  • Material Flow / Supply Chain — inbound timing and shortages
Required Qualifications
  • 7-10 years in manufacturing leadership, including experience directly managing production supervisors
  • Background in contract manufacturing (EMS, industrial, or engineered-to-order environments)
  • Working knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, and assembly operations — you don't need to have run these functions, but you need to speak the language
  • Lean manufacturing fundamentals (value stream mapping, Kaizen, root-cause problem solving)
  • Comfortable working in an ERP/MRP system (SAP a plus, not required)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with complex, engineered-to-order products — modular data centers, battery energy storage systems, power distribution, or electrical enclosures
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management
We are particularly interested in leaders who have manufactured complex integrated products such as:
  • Modular Data Centers
  • Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
  • Power Distribution Equipment
  • Electrical Enclosures
  • Switchgear
  • Industrial Equipment
  • Energy Infrastructure
  • Modular Power Systems
  • Engineered Industrial Assemblies
Benefits & Perks

GTI Energy offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support employees and their families while providing long-term career growth opportunities within a fast-growing manufacturing organization. Benefits may include:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match (where applicable)
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays
  • Sick time in accordance with state and local requirements
  • Company-paid life insurance and disability coverage
  • Career advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing organization
  • Exposure to advanced manufacturing, modular infrastructure, and large-scale industrial projects
  • Collaborative, fast-paced environment with strong operational and engineering leadership
  • Employee-focused culture centered on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement

Benefits eligibility and offerings may vary based on position, location, and employment classification.

Diversity & Inclusion

GTI promotes a diverse and inclusive workforce and is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate against employees or applicants for employment on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, age, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, military or veteran status, marital status, or any other Federal or State legally-protected classes. We also value the safety of all employees and work hard to maintain a Drug Free Workplace.
