Job description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist for a temp-to-hire position within our title and real estate company. In this role, you will manage, organize, and update property databases, closing files, and digital land records during an initial contract period, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately input property transactions, deeds, mortgages, liens, and title commitments into our database and title production systems.
  • Verify legal descriptions, public records, tax assessments, and chain of title documents against source files.
  • Cross-reference information with county recorder databases to resolve missing data or discrepancies.
  • Scan, index, and organize closing documents, escrow files, and legal notices into our digital document management system.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial, property, and client data in compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist escrow officers and title examiners with routine administrative data tasks and reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in real estate, title insurance, escrow , or legal administration is highly preferred.
  • Strong typing speed (50-60 WPM minimum) with exceptional accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs).
  • Familiarity with title production software (e.g., SoftPro, ResWare, RamQuest) or real estate CRM systems is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly with legal names, numerical values, and land descriptions.
