Job Description

This role focuses on high-volume data entry and email-based customer support in a structured, process-driven environment. The data entry clerk manages a shared email inbox, supports different customers by email, and ensures accurate entry of alphanumeric data, including large catalogs of products and part numbers. Success in this position requires strong organization, excellent written communication, a quick learning ability, and the capacity to work calmly and professionally with challenging situations and complex scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

  • Enter high volumes of alphanumeric data accurately and efficiently into internal systems, including detailed product and part number information.
  • Manage and respond to emails in a shared inbox, ensuring timely, professional, and clear communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Organize and prioritize email requests from multiple customers, maintaining an orderly workflow and ensuring no inquiries are overlooked.
  • Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools to update records, track information, and support daily administrative tasks.
  • Work within an ERP system to enter, update, and retrieve customer, order, and product information in accordance with established processes.
  • Provide customer service and support via email and inbound calls, addressing questions, resolving issues, and coordinating scheduling as needed.
  • Handle difficult customer interactions and complex scheduling requests with patience, professionalism, and a solutions-focused mindset.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
