Job Overview & Responsibilities
As a leader of the Contract Data Management Team with ULA, you will be responsible for ensuring the CDM team follows clear governance frameworks to ensure data is properly marked, stored, and shared in accordance with data rights regulations, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and company policies. You will utilize CM/DM tools to manage emails, schedules and task tracking to perform the preparation of contract data item submittals (CDRLs) for Government and Commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will grow an understanding of data protection requirements, government contracts, and the ability to collaborate across Legal, Engineering, Program and Mission Management. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and traceability of key data products. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills who can collaborate independently with internal teams
As the leader of the Contract and Data Management at United Launch Alliance, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Responsible for managing and coordinating the efforts of their team, ensuring efficient workflow, providing guidance and support, and achieving collective goals
  • Responsible for managing a team of CM/DM professionals and coordinating employee recruitment, talent development, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions for their team.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
    • Four years of directly related exempt work experience may be used to satisfy the bachelor's degree requirement.
  • Experience as a team or functional leader in Contract Data Management (CDM) and integrating and implementing CDM program requirements.
  • Understanding of Production and Development programs.
  • Able to handle sensitive data
  • Experience working with NASA, Space Force and Aerospace
  • Experience working Other Transaction Agreements (OTA)
  • Experience with Trade Secret Data
  • Knowledge of FAR and DFAR
  • Experience with reading and understanding Contracts.
  • Experience with working with CDRLs and SOWs.
  • Experience with working with Sub-Contractor SDRLs and SOWs.
  • Leading the review and retention of supplier data.
  • Managing configuration of supplier Statement of Work (SOW)/SDRL.
  • Experience with Siemens Teamcenter software or other Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) systems and/or tool administration such as Livelink.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Able to determine CDM contractual requirements in Contracts, understands Contract Clins, and Program Directives (PDs).
  • Oversee the timely monthly Contract Deliverables Requirements (CDRLs), and Supplier Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs).
  • Demonstrated understanding of EIA-649 principles.
  • Contract and/or subcontract management.
  • Program planning and start-up activities for Configuration and Data Management.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with Data Management: scheduling, tracking, and submitting data and working with data repositories.
  • Livelink / SharePoint or other workgroup collaboration tools.
  • Experience working on proposals.

Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Denver only): $101,425.00 - $188,361.00
Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
