The Supply Execution Planner is responsible for balancing the capacity of their plants versus the demand being pointed to their plants.  This would include daily/weekly tracking of plant performance versus targets as well as monitoring bookings/backlogs.  This requires candidates to be able to process large amounts of data, influence others, and drive cross-functional alignment.   He/she will have overall control of:

  • Orchestrating the Integrated Tactical Planning process to take control of the signed-off Integrated Business Planning plans and ensuring they are being deployed at a weekly and daily level.  Must be able to work in a fast-paced team, manage personal schedule, and support multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop monthly supply targets, to outline crew needs for the next 60 days based on Backlog and current demand pointed at plant. 
  • Align with Supply Planner, GM and VP on crewing needs based on backlog, and forecasted demand.
  • Align execution plans with key stakeholders including, but not limited to, the VP of Operations, Plant General Managers, Commercial and Customer Service to ensure that resources are properly aligned and adjusted monthly to achieve the Supply Plan and deliver excellent customer experience. 
  • Works with Operations to expedite and adjust schedules to meet emergencies caused by downtime, increased production demand, or material and/or manpower shortages. 
  • Coordinate production from MCC plants and/or procurement of finished goods or outsourcing services from contract manufacturers or suppliers into the Company network. 
  • Run / Analyze daily metrics and send out reports with synopsis of countermeasures in place or plans to balance network.
    • Identify Actions/CM needed for Late Jobs, MSI to FG and any other constraint impacting supply. 
  • Escalate extended backlogs to the Supply Planner to work and identify work to move.
  • Attend all transfer and triage calls for execution needs
  • Create weekly reports for distribution to Planners, GM, Directors and VP on backlog, and issues. 
  • Align execution plans with key stakeholders including, but not limited to, the VP of Operations, Plant General Managers, Commercial and Customer Service to ensure that resources are properly aligned and adjusted monthly to achieve OTIF and deliver excellent customer experience.
    • Communicate / Track all countermeasures in place to (VP’s, GM’s, Customer Service, Planners, Director of Supply)
  • Works with Operations to expedite and adjust schedules to meet emergencies caused by downtime, increased production demand, or material and/or manpower shortages.
  • Help support and coordinate production from MCC plants and/or procurement of finished goods or outsourcing services from contract manufacturers or suppliers into the Company network.
  • Coordinate with supply planner, plants and engineering to maintain service performance throughout all capital projects and plant shutdowns.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, make constructive suggestions for change and drive for results
  • Participate in the Service Performance and MDI (Managing for Daily Improvement) meetings to monitor leading indicator metrics, identify abnormal conditions across the supply chain and initiate appropriate problem-solving techniques.
  • Help identify and assist in setting up BCP for top customers
  • Assist Supply planner as needed
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Travel requirement: up to 10-20% travel.

This role is primarily office-based or home office-based, requiring extended periods of sitting, computer use, occasional walking or light lifting, and may involve brief visits to manufacturing areas; reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed.
