Controls Hardware Designer
Job Title: Controls Hardware Designer
Location: Detroit, MI
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (Contract-to-Direct)
Travel: 10-20%
Overview:
This is a Contract-to-Hire Controls Hardware Designer role in Detroit, MI, focused on hardware design and documentation using EPLAN and AutoCAD. Candidates with GM/Ford standard experience are preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop controls hardware documentation and layouts
  • Create and maintain electrical schematics using EPLAN and AutoCAD
  • Support hardware design standards for automotive manufacturing environments
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on control panel and hardware design deliverables
  • Apply automotive industry standards (GM/Ford) where applicable

Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of controls hardware design experience preferred
  • EPLAN experience preferred
