Job Description: Content Marketing Manager - Americas Contract
Location: Holland, MI (in-office) 4 days on-site 1 day remotely
GENERAL PURPOSE
The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of integrated content marketing programs that drive awareness, engagement, and preference for MillerKnoll and its collective of brands. This role combines strategic marketing leadership, creative content development, and strong project management capabilities to deliver high-impact campaigns for contract audiences. The ideal candidate is a proactive, collaborative marketer who can influence cross-functional stakeholders, manage complex timelines and deliverables, and translate business objectives into compelling content and marketing programs that drive measurable results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives by aligning stakeholders, managing project timelines, identifying risks, and ensuring successful execution of key marketing campaigns.

  • Serve as the central point of coordination for content campaigns, balancing competing priorities while ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and business objectives are achieved.

  • Develop innovative and create content strategies that engage target audiences and support business growth across multiple channels and touchpoints.

  • Build strong partnerships across marketing, sales, research, product, creative and leadership teams to accelerate decision making and move initiatives forward effectively.

  • Translate complex business, research and client insights into compelling content and storytelling that resonates with contract decision makers and influencers.

  • Drive projects from concept through execution maintaining accountability for timelines, stakeholder alignment, and final deliverables.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
  • Lead the development of segment-specific storytelling and key messaging that differentiates MillerKnoll brands within the contract channel.

  • Oversee the creation and curation of photography, 3D renderings, and digital visual assets to support marketing initiatives.

  • Lead the creation of sales presentations and tools that empower the contract sales team to communicate value effectively to clients tied to campaigns.

  • Develop content for audience specific events and programs.

  • Synthesize and implement category and application stories that integrate and promote key products from across the entire MillerKnoll collective.

  • Collaborate closely with and manage cross functional partners (including sales enablement, sales leadership, and research) to ensure marketing content aligns with the actual needs of the field and facilitates the buyer's journey and increases speed to revenue.

  • Work with the Integrated Marketing team, creative teams, and external partners to ensure timely and successful delivery of 360-degree programs.

  • Set and monitor marketing KPIs to measure the engagement and return on investment of segment-specific content and campaigns.

  • Monitor industry best practices to develop and maintain appropriate standards, policies, and guidelines for content creation and audience strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field required.

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience required, with a strong emphasis on B2B content strategy and multi-channel marketing.

  • Experience in the contract furniture or design-related industry is preferred.

Skills & Abilities
  • Demonstrated strong design sensitivity and the ability to represent MillerKnoll in a professional manner to a diverse group of professionals.

  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking hands-on execution of multiple concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail, delivering high-quality work, and managing a budget.

  • Strong creative thinking and content development capabilities, with experience transforming business objectives into engaging marketing campaigns and storytelling.

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.

  • Proven experience managing complex timelines, dependencies, and deliverables while navigating ambiguity and changing priorities.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships, facilitate collaboration, and drive projects forward in fast-paced environments.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing and delivering presentations to executive leadership and large audiences.

  • Ability to use office automation and communication software effectively is required. Ability to use graphic design software is highly preferred.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 20%.
