Eagle Logistics Systems is a freight forwarder that specializes in the Puerto Rico trade. With over 25 years of experience on the island, we help connect shippers with buyers and also support other transportation companies in reaching Puerto Rico efficiently.


We operate with our own trucks and warehouse space, giving us the ability to handle all types of cargo-whether it's a full container load (FCL) or less-than-container load (LCL). We offer multiple sailings each week, giving you flexible options that meet your schedule.


In addition to Puerto Rico, our experienced team can also provide logistics support and competitive rates for destinations around the globe. Our wide range of services includes ocean freight, domestic trucking, drayage, transfers, and warehousing.

Position Summary

This position requires a focus on customer satisfaction by maintaining and constantly improving warehouse operations to ensure the timely, quality handling and efficient delivery of products to our customers.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree Materials Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years senior level operations experience.
  • Experience in third party logistics industry.
  • Must be experienced working in Warehouse environment.
  • Experience in systems implementation.
  • Excelling interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Achieves warehouse operations - operational objectives by contributing warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends.


  • Responsible for leading strategic initiatives across the supply chain and the organization to drive change and improvements for the organization
  • Manages all supply chain initiatives, including vendor partners to ensure they meet all project and quality specifications domestically as well as internationally
  • Manages all warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process work flow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Oversee all processes related to planning, purchasing, inventory and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Develop our workforces by training, assigning, scheduling and coaching employees; communicates job expectations, planning monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions, enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, hire, train and supervise employees in support of the storage, retrieval and supply functions as well as safety, quality and equipment maintenance. Setting and allocating targets to warehouse staff and organizing staff training activities.

  • Organize continuous efforts to improve consolidation and transportation efforts as well as inventory controls.

  • Responsible for working with managers, other supervisors, and employees from other departments to promote a team environment to achieve goals across all shifts.
  • Plan the layout and set up of the warehouse for the appropriate storage of goods and supplies.
  • Coordinate departmental productivity and inventory management goals.
  • Maintain a harmonious work environment by resolving employee relations issues. in a fair, consistent, and timely manner.
  • Negotiate contracts as needed with third party vendors.
