Job Overview

Responsible for managing the Office of ContractCompliance, including oversight and adherence to contractualobligations, regulatory requirements, and institutional policiesrelated to procurement and supplier agreements. This role involvesmonitoring compliance with federal and state regulations,developing policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments,and fostering strong relationships with internal and externalstakeholders.

Essential Functions
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance withuniversity policies and procedures related to procurement andsupplier agreements. Conduct risk assessments whenappropriate.
  • Direct and manage all activities of the Office ofContract Compliance (e.g., compliance, vendors, and prevailingwages).
  • Ensure compliance with university policies andguidelines.
  • Develop annual term contracts of high-dollarvolume.
  • Assist and ensure compliance with the State of OhioWage & Hour Division by investigating complaints allegingpayroll performance issues with those vendors maintaining contractswith the University of Cincinnati.
  • Oversee the compliance review of all grants awardedto the university.
  • Prepare and present reports to the State anduniversity and external entities.
  • Keep abreast of current contract complianceguidelines.
  • May provide direct and/or indirect supervision toexempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performanceevaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off,etc.).
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need.This job description can be changed at any time.
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree
Required Experience
  • Seven (7) years of relatedexperience.
  • One (1) year supervisionexperience.

  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical orenvironmental demands.

Salary/Hourly Pay Rate Information: $101,700 dependent oncandidate experience
