Work You'll Do
As a Project - Manager on our team, you will be responsible for:
  • Serving as a senior communications advisor to Office of Public Affairs leadership and provides strategic counsel on messaging, positioning, and stakeholder engagement
  • Developing and executing strategic communications plans aligned with leadership priorities and organizational objectives
  • Drafting, editing, and overseeing the production of a wide range of communications products, including leadership messages, talking points, speeches, announcements, newsletters, briefing materials, and other executive communications
  • Producing clear, compelling written content by conducting interviews with employees, leaders, and stakeholders, and by developing stories and messaging that highlight workforce accomplishments, mission impact, and organizational culture
  • Overseeing editorial quality and communications execution across multiple channels, including social media, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, brand, and style while managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications
Required:
  • 7+ years of professional work experience
  • 5+ years of experience with developing written communications for a broad audience, conducting stakeholder interviews, and working both independently and as a part of a team
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to be on site 100% of the time in McLean, VA
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
  • Experience with supporting the IC community
  • Experience with engagement management
  • Experience supporting senior executives in a communications capacity
  • Experience with digital communications tools, analytics, and content management platforms (e.g., WordPress)
