Job description

About Us

GSR is crypto's capital markets partner, helping founders and institutions scale with confidence. With over a decade of specialized expertise, we deliver institutional-grade market making, OTC trading, and strategic venture capital to support growth at every stage.

Our value goes beyond execution. We provide access to liquidity, real-time market intelligence, and strategic guidance shaped by years operating at the center of global crypto markets. We bridge the gap between traditional finance and digital assets, connecting teams with the capital, market access, and insights they need to build what's next.

The Role

This is a Contract Communications Manager role focused on executing GSR's external and internal communications during a maternity leave period, ensuring continuity across media, content, and internal messaging.

You will operate within an established framework, owning day-to-day communications across media and internal channels, while partnering closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely messaging.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering GSR's day-to-day communications across external media and internal channels, ensuring a high standard of quality, consistency, and judgment across all outputs.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Executing external communications, including press releases, company announcements, and industry commentary
  • Managing media engagement, including proactive outreach and handling inbound requests from crypto, tech, and financial press
  • Drafting and refining written content across external communications and internal messaging
  • Supporting communications for product launches, partnerships, and strategic initiatives

Alongside execution, the role requires a strong awareness of the broader market and media environment. You will monitor coverage and narratives, identify opportunities, and escalate potential reputational or market-sensitive issues where appropriate.

You will work closely with Product, Legal, and Marketing to ensure messaging is aligned and accurate, maintaining consistency across all communication channels.

Requirements
  • Experience in communications, PR, or a related field, ideally within crypto, web3, or fintech
  • Strong understanding of crypto markets, narratives, and media landscape
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely
  • Experience supporting press relations and external communications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, particularly in market-sensitive situations
Additional Information

This is a temporary contract role providing coverage during a maternity leave period, with the potential to evolve into a longer-term opportunity depending on business needs and performance.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is USD 100,000 - 130,000 (annualized, pro rata). Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

What We Offer

A collaborative and transparent company culture founded on Integrity, Innovation, and Performance.

Benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, retirement planning, 30 days of holiday, and free lunches when in the office.

Hybrid working pattern across our global offices in London, the US, Singapore, Zug, and Malaga.

Regular Town Halls, team lunches, offsites, and social events.

A strong Corporate and Social Responsibility program, including charity matching and volunteer days.
