Emphasizes connecting biological concepts to the Theory of Knowledge and develops skills for the Internal Assessment experimental investigation.
  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with IB Biology syllabus for SL and HL and common challenges such as managing content breadth, meeting IA requirements, and answering extended-response questions. Adapts instruction using past IB examination papers, mark scheme analysis, and IA guidance to support IB students at both Standard and Higher Levels preparing for internal assessments and final examinations.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.
