We are looking for a Contracts Administrator to support the administration of government and commercial agreements in Round Rock, Texas. This position plays a key role in managing contract activities from proposal support through closeout while working closely with program, finance, legal, and business teams. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, sound judgment, and the ability to balance compliance, risk, and business objectives in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the complete administration of prime contracts and subcontracts, supporting activities from pre-award planning and proposal input through post-award execution and final closeout.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate a range of agreements, including subcontracts, nondisclosure agreements, teaming arrangements, consulting agreements, and contract modifications.
• Lead solicitation package development and proposal evaluations, assessing pricing, contractual alignment, compliance obligations, and overall business risk.
• Conduct price analysis and shape negotiation approaches that help achieve favorable terms, cost efficiencies, and practical business outcomes.
• Apply prime contract requirements to subcontract documents, ensuring necessary flowdown provisions are accurately incorporated and maintained.
• Oversee post-award contract administration by tracking milestones, deliverables, funding status, invoicing support, performance matters, and modification processing.
• Monitor subcontractor execution against statements of work, schedules, and funding limitations, escalating concerns when performance or contractual issues arise.
• Advise internal teams on contract structure, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies while partnering across program management, finance, engineering, sales, and legal functions.
• Maintain documentation and records in accordance with contractual obligations, applicable regulations, and internal policy requirements, while communicating clearly with customers, government representatives, and subcontract partners.• At least 5 years of experience administering government contracts, subcontracts, or both across the full contract lifecycle.
• Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Working knowledge of applicable federal contracting regulations and subcontract compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated success negotiating contract terms and conditions, including nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontract documents.
• Experience performing price or cost analysis to support subcontract evaluations and negotiation decisions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with program management, finance, legal, sales, and technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of directly related experience in government contract or subcontract administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make sound business decisions in a fast-paced environment.
