Job description

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a SEO Content Manager located in Meridian, ID. The Content Manager would be working for a major company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.


SEO Content Manager Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $28-$32 per hour based on experience
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

SEO Content Manager Responsibilities

The SEO Content Specialist supports the search team by managing content production workflows and ensuring the digital content across micron.com is properly keyworded, structured, and moved through the publishing process. This role is primarily focused on SEO/GEO execution (keyword research, outlining, coordination, and tracking). While not a dedicated content writing role, strong writing skills is a huge plus.

Key Responsibilities
Core SEO Execution

  • Conduct keyword research for blog and glossary topics using SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush)
  • Create SEO-driven content outlines for blog articles and product pages (structure, headings, intent, and target keywords) for business units
  • Coordinate with writers, agencies, internal teams, and AI tools to move content through production stages
  • Manage content workflow from intake through publication (backlog in progress review published)
  • Maintain content pipeline visibility and status tracking for stakeholders
  • Track and report basic content performance
  • Report on content performance, highlighting what was successfully executed versus what did not meet expectations
  • Review and optimize draft content to ensure strong SEO structure and alignment with target keywords
  • Conduct offsite outreach to build highquality backlinks
  • Strengthen internal linking by strategically connecting related pages across the site

GEO & LLM Optimization

  • Enhance existing content for GEO performance by rewriting definitions, structuring answer-first sections, and improving clarity for AI-driven search
  • Develop and expand FAQ sections using targeted queries, ensuring concise, technically accurate, and AI-friendly responses
  • Apply consistent content structuring best practices (headers, bullets, short-form answers) to improve retrieval in AI Overviews and LLMs
  • Strengthen entity coverage and internal linking by incorporating related technologies, use cases, and optimized anchor text
  • Execute scalable on-page optimizations using provided briefs, checklists, and tools to improve visibility across search and generative platforms

SEO Content Manager Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field OR 3 years of related Experience
  • 3+ years experience in SEO, content marketing, or digital marketing
  • Familiarity with SEO tools (SEMrush or similar)
  • Strong understanding of keyword research and search intent
  • Familiarity with GEO concepts and AI search optimization - understanding of how LLMs discover, read, and cite content
  • Experience writing or editing for AI-readiness, including semantic structure, conversational keyword integration, and entity optimization

EO Content Manager Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with project management platforms (Workfront)
