Workday Solutions Architect About the Role

Join a client partner's team to lead the solution architecture for a major Workday Phase II transformation. You will provide technical leadership across multiple workstreams, ensuring scalable, integrated solutions that align business objectives with long-term enterprise architecture.

Role Details
  • Location: Dane County, Madison, WI
  • Work Arrangement: On-site
  • Contract Type: Full Time
  • Duration: 10 Months
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end Workday solution architecture across Core HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits, Performance and Peakon.
  • Define integration, data conversion and security architecture while reviewing and challenging implementation partner designs.
  • Facilitate architecture and design workshops with HR, Payroll, Finance and IT stakeholders.
  • Provide architectural governance across releases, change requests and cross-workstream dependencies.
  • Mentor Business Analysts, administrators and technical teams while advising senior leadership on Workday strategy.
Competency Profile
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong architectural and problem-solving ability.
  • Collaborative leader capable of influencing technical and business decisions.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 6+ years' hands-on Workday configuration and solution design experience.
  • 4+ years as a Workday Solutions Architect, Lead Consultant or Design Lead on full lifecycle implementations.
  • Proven experience designing enterprise Workday solutions across multiple functional areas.
