Job description

Job Title: Business Analyst/Product Owner
Job Type: Contract
Location: Hybrid

Job Summary:

Seeking a Product Owner / Business Analyst with strong Guidewire Policy Administration and General Liability insurance experience to support a large-scale Policy Admin transformation project. The candidate will serve as the customer proxy to Agile teams, owning and prioritizing the backlog, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring solutions align with program goals and business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support 1–2 Agile Scrum teams on medium to large initiatives.
  • Define, refine, and prioritize the product backlog; create user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to ensure business alignment.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and PI planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure high-quality product delivery.

Required Skills:

  • Guidewire Policy Admin experience – Required
  • General Liability insurance experience – Required
  • 2+ years as a BA / Product Owner / PM in an Agile environment.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
