Job description

The Audio-Visual Supervisor provides technical leadership, strategic direction, and operational governance for enterprise audio/visual and collaboration services. This position serves as the primary subject matter expert responsible for establishing standards, guiding technology architecture, and driving the lifecycle management of conference room technologies, executive communications systems, video conferencing platforms, hybrid collaboration solutions, digital signage, and multimedia services. This role leads complex enterprise implementations, oversees vendor relationships and service performance, develops roadmaps that align technology investments with business objectives, and mentors AV associates on technical best practices. The Lead Audi Visual Specialist collaborates with infrastructure, network, facilities, security, and end-user technology teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly reliable communication and collaboration capabilities across the enterprise.


  • Define and maintain enterprise standards, governance practices, architecture principles, and operational processes for audio/visual and collaboration technologies.
  • Crosstrain, lead and develop team of associates to promote maximum efficiency, engagement, succession planning and overall contribution to strategic organizational goals.
  • Serve as lead technical escalation point for AV infrastructure, Microsoft Teams Rooms, conferencing platforms, room controls, digital signage, and multimedia technologies.
  • Lead the planning, design, implementation, and lifecycle management of enterprise AV solutions.
  • Develop strategic technology roadmaps that align collaboration services with business objectives, security requirements, and operational needs.
  • Direct major AV modernization initiatives, executive meeting environments, boardroom technologies, and enterprise-wide deployment projects.
  • Establish service metrics, operational reporting, monitoring standards, and continuous improvement programs for AV services.
  • Manage vendor, manufacturer, integrator, and managed service relationships to ensure service quality, contract compliance, and cost effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance on budgeting, forecasting, procurement strategies, lifecycle replacement planning, and capital investment decisions.
  • Partner with infrastructure, networking, telecommunications, facilities, security, and business leaders to ensure integrated technology solutions.
  • Provide executive-level support for board meetings, regulatory presentations, enterprise events, and other mission-critical business functions.
  • Ensure AV services operate in compliance with security, risk management, audit, change management, and asset governance requirements.
  • Travel as needed.
  • Associates are expected to perform all additional duties as assigned.

  • High School diploma or GED 
  • 8 years of progressively responsible experience in audio/visual technologies, unified communications, enterprise collaboration services, or related infrastructure disciplines.
  • Advanced experience designing, implementing, administering, and supporting enterprise AV and collaboration environments.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, enterprise conferencing solutions, room scheduling systems, control systems, digital signage, and multimedia technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of AV architecture, VoIP technologies, collaboration protocols, networking concepts, security considerations, and technology lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise technology projects, vendor relationships, operational improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience developing standards, governance practices, support processes, and service performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical, planning, budgeting, vendor management, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executives, regulators, vendors, technical teams, and business leaders.
  • Ability to support highly sensitive and high-profile business activities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AVIXA CTS-D, CTS-I, PMP, ITIL, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco, or equivalent professional certifications.
  • Experience developing enterprise AV strategy, architecture, and governance frameworks.
  • Experience managing technology budgets, vendor contracts, and lifecycle replacement programs.
  • Experience supporting boardroom, executive leadership, regulatory, or financial services environments.
  • Experience leading enterprise collaboration modernization initiatives.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:  Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse requiring hand and wrist manipulation, while viewing computer screens..
