Job description

Contract Recruiter LHH Recruitment is supporting on a Contract Recruiter to join a team in Central Phoenix. In this role, you will focus on high-volume recruiting for CDL drivers across the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships with candidates, and has a passion for finding top talent. This position is contract for right now, expected to last for 3-4 months. The hourly rate is between $28/hr-$30/hr.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and experienced in managing multiple openings while delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for CDL driver positions nationwide
  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and other recruiting channels
  • Conduct phone screenings and evaluate candidate qualifications
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with hiring managers
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process
  • Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Negotiate offers and assist candidates through the onboarding process
  • Meet recruiting metrics and hiring deadlines in a high-volume environment
Qualifications
  • Previous full-cycle recruiting experience required
  • Experience recruiting CDL drivers or transportation/logistics professionals strongly preferred
  • High-volume recruiting experience required
  • Strong sourcing and interviewing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
