Inpatient Pharmacist Manager 

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Pay Rate: $94.00–$96.00/hr
Contract: 24 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday–Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
Experience: Minimum 3 years required
EMR: Epic
Requirements: CO Pharmacy License, PharmD, BLS, ACLS

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist Manager for a 24-week contract assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This role requires strong inpatient pharmacy leadership, clinical pharmacy knowledge, regulatory compliance experience, and hands-on Epic experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee inpatient pharmacy operations and daily workflow

  • Ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication therapy

  • Maintain formulary, medication storage, supply, and controlled substance accountability

  • Supervise pharmacy staff, schedules, performance, and department needs

  • Support policy development, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance

  • Collaborate with clinical teams and hospital leadership

  • Step in as Staff Pharmacist when needed

  • Maintain accurate documentation and competency records

Requirements

  • Active Colorado Pharmacy license in good standing required

  • PharmD required

  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy required

  • Epic experience required

  • Minimum 3 years of pharmacy experience required

  • Demonstrated leadership in pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy services

  • Current AHA BLS certification required

  • Current AHA ACLS certification required

  • Strong regulatory knowledge, clinical judgment, communication, and teaching skills required

  • Must be willing to fill in evenings, overnights, or weekends if staffing needs arise

  • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions accepted during required season

  • Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility

  • 1099 not accepted
