Program Summary
KBR's Aviation & Ground Systems Directorate provides Systems Engineering & Integration support to the Army's Aviation and Ground soldiers with project based and full-time personnel support services. KBR sets the standard with a wide range of services including Government Engineering, Logistics, Business, and International focuses, while ensuring customer satisfaction and providing excellence in contract deliverables.
The Prototype, Integration, and Design (PID) facility manufactures and integrates electronic components into both ground and aviation systems in support of DoD and Commercial applications.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Set up and run the press brake for bending sheet metal.
  • Measure bent parts for conformance and accuracy.
  • Perform basic sheet metal assembly operations using rivets, screws, washers, nuts, etc.
  • Perform minor mechanical assembly of nut plates, riv-nuts, and other hardware.
  • Perform minor electrical tasks including crimping, splicing and terminating connections.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 3 years experience in sheet metal fabrication
  • 5 years' experience in mechanical assembly
  • High school diploma

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with press brake operation
  • Experience in Aviation sheet metal fabrication
  • Experience with wiring harness termination
